Placed within a borderline context, situated between the expanding tissue of Câmpia Turzii and the open agricultural fields, the project proposes a strategic architectural intervention in this transforming landscape. The building located in this hybrid area benefits from both the agricultural scenery and the connection to the urban network, offering a model of responsible architecture that creates a link between form, site, and habitation. It is a statement about how we can build densely on the city outskirts without compromising quality of life, local identity, or architectural expression.

The volumetry is, on one hand, a large-scale reinterpretation of the roof structure, a deeply recognizable element in the local architecturalImaginary, resized into an abstract, asymmetric, and sculptural gesture. On the other hand, it responds to the requirements and demands of the local regulations.

Materiality is reduced to the essentials: a white mineral facade, a metallic roof in the same tone, and warm-colored carpentry, all contributing to a calm presence in the landscape. This image supports the idea of simplicity, volumetric clarity, and neutrality within the context.

The planimetric arrangement offers functional efficiency and adaptability, while maintaining an increased focus on orientation, natural light, and the relationship with the landscape. The successive setbacks of the upper floors create a diversity of typologies at the apartment level and a variety of outdoor spaces (loggias, terraces), which give the dwelling a personal and intimate dimension within a collective structure.

This tense yet promising context thus serves as the backdrop for an architecture that aims to reconcile local identity with contemporary needs for densification and community. The solution offered by the project is collective housing that proposes an alternative density model, without sacrificing the relationship with the place, light, or the community.
