THE OFFICE
Since 1952, the idea began to be promoted that the office should be like a “living room where work takes place in a relaxed way, without stress and distractions”, an idea launched by the architect and designer George Nelson. In an existing office space conceived according to the rules established before the Covid-19 pandemic, a rigid and unspectacular space, we propose a solution based on a flexible design that allows the workspace to be organized according to individual or group needs and preferences. The proposed concept is “Club Office”, a combination of unique and functional spaces that support several types of activities, as a response to the “new normal” of workspaces. It is a revolutionary approach to office design, one that adapts to the rapid changes in the way we work and encourages a more people-oriented attitude towards organizing and arranging work environments. This comes as a response to the demands of a modern and diverse workforce, which seeks not only a traditional office, but an environment that supports the creativity and productivity of its users.
